35 DMs, each shown twice. Once as my own sample, so you can see what a finished message looks like. Once as a blank template, so you can make it yours.
Find the moment you are in, copy the template, then change it until it sounds like you.
SAMPLE is my own version, with my details filled in. Read it first so you can see what a finished message looks like. Some samples still show [Name] or another bracket, because that part changes every time I send it.
TEMPLATE is the same message with [square brackets] where your own words go. Tap Copy, paste it into your phone and fill it in.
The sections follow the playbook: people who already know you first, then Connect, Qualify and Invite, then what to send when someone goes quiet or pushes back.
Each section tells you three things before the scripts:
WHEN TO USE IT. The moment you send it.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. What you are waiting for after you hit send.
GUARDRAILS. The two or three things that break it.
Each script then has a What this does line and a few short reasons why it works.
These scripts are for people who already know you, even a little. Messaging total strangers is a different game.
Running a free guide or a lead magnet? The scripts for that live in the 5 Cash DMs library at fivecashdms.marcteo.com/scripts.
THE WORDS THIS LIBRARY USES
Warm pool. People who already know you: past clients, people who bought something small from you, people who comment on your posts, old contacts.
Cold, warm, hot. How well someone knows you. Cold means you just connected. Warm means you have talked, or they engage with your posts. Hot means they know, like and trust you and are close to deciding.
Reconnect. The first message to someone after a long gap.
Reason check. Asking yourself if you have a real reason to message, like a launch or something they asked about. No reason means a friendly message with no ask. A real reason means a soft offer is fair.
Connect, Qualify, Invite. The three jobs a DM can do. Start a real conversation, find out what they want, then offer the right next step.
A-I-A. Acknowledge, Insight, Ask. Say back what they said, share a quick thought, then ask one question.
Easy out. A short line that lets them say no without feeling rude. "All good if you aren't interested too!"
Close the file. One last friendly message that ends your follow-ups, so nothing is left hanging.
Objection. A reason someone gives for no or not yet, like "let me think about it" or "I'm not ready".
MY TEXTING RULES, AND WHY YOU NEED YOUR OWN
These are the rules I text by. I counted them out of my own sent messages. Some of them are just good craft and work for anybody. The rest are my habits, and copying those will make you sound like me instead of you.
The parts that work for anyone: keep a first message short and split it into a few bubbles, one thought each. Say why you are messaging in the first line or two. Give an easy out on every invite or offer. Do not end on a full stop, because it reads cold on a phone. After a long gap, keep the first message free of questions.
The parts that are mine: haha, :), the blue heart, the little k, and & instead of and. Yours will be different, and yours are the right ones for your people. Read your own last twenty sent messages and write down what you actually do.
MY PRICES AND PROMISES ARE MINE, NOT YOURS
A few samples show a price, a guarantee or a number of spots, like $100 to start or a money-back guarantee. Those come from my own campaigns. They are there so you can see where that line sits in a message and how light it stays.
Only use a price, a guarantee or a number that is true for you. If you do not have one yet, take the line out rather than borrowing mine.
A
RECONNECTING WITH PEOPLE WHO ALREADY KNOW YOU
WHEN TO USE IT: Someone who already knows you has gone quiet for a while. A past client, a past customer, a friend or an old contact. These are the warmest people you have, so start here before you message anyone new.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Nothing is asked, so nothing is owed. When they reply with a thank you or a quick update, that reply is your opening for message two.
GUARDRAILS
The first message after a long gap carries no question and no offer. A question there reads as "what does he want from me", so let the warmth land first.
Talk about the relationship, not the program they bought. Your business name is fine, the name of the old program is not.
Only send message two after they reply on their own.
A1 A past client, after a long gap
What this does: Thanks a past client for their trust and wishes them well, with nothing asked in return.
Why it works:
Gratitude is easy to receive, so there is nothing for them to guard against.
The line about life not always being smooth keeps the wish real instead of sugary.
It needs no memory of their details, so you can send it to anyone on your past client list.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Just wanted to share a note of gratitude for your trust & support with MI & me years back hahah
Trust everything's been going great for you lately, and I know while not everything might be 100% smooth all the time as that's life, as long as you keep the faith & keep taking action, you got this :)
Take care yes!! Sending you lots of love & joy today
Template
Hey [Name]! Just wanted to share a note of gratitude for your trust & support with [your business name] & me [how long ago, like years back] hahah
Trust everything's been going great for you lately, and I know while not everything might be 100% smooth all the time as that's life, as long as you keep the faith & keep taking action, you got this :)
Take care yes!! Sending you lots of love & joy today
A2 A past client, when you remember something specific
What this does: The same thank you, with one line of real praise for what they are doing now.
Why it works:
One specific detail proves you actually noticed them, which a copy and paste message cannot fake.
It still carries no question, so the only thing for them to do is enjoy it.
Naming how far they have come since you first spoke makes the praise about them, not you.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Just wanted to share a note of gratitude for your trust & support with MI & me years back hahah
So happy seeing you go all-in on [the real thing they are doing] now!!! You've shifted so much since we first spoke in [year] hahaha

Take care yes!! Sending you lots of love & joy today
A3 Anyone you have not spoken to in a while
What this does: Reopens a quiet conversation with warm wishes and no ask.
Why it works:
"No need to reply" takes the pressure off, so it reads as a gift instead of a task.
It gives before it asks, so your next message has a warm place to land.
It is short enough to read in a few seconds on a phone.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Been a while haha. Was just thinking about you and wanted to say I hope things have been going well on your end. No need to reply, just sending some good energy your way π Have an amazing week ahead!
Template
Hey [Name]! Been a while haha. Was just thinking about you and wanted to say I hope things have been going well on your end. No need to reply, just sending some good energy your way π Have an amazing week ahead!
A4 Message two, after they reply
What this does: Once they have replied to your first message, asks one open question about their life now.
Why it works:
An open "what" question gets a story back, and a story gives you something real to reply to.
A closed question like "you good?" gets a one word answer and the chat dies.
Saying you are curious makes it feel like interest, not a survey.
Sample
Anyway what you been focused on these days? Always curious where you're channeling your energy now haha π
Template
Anyway what you been focused on these days? Always curious where you're channeling your energy now haha π
A5 Message two, when you saw what they did
What this does: Asks about their work and names one thing you saw them do, so it is clearly written for them.
Why it works:
The detail you saw proves you looked at them before you typed.
It opens the door to talk about their work without you pitching anything.
It sounds like a friend catching up, because that is what it is.
Sample
So what have you been focused on lately for your [business or project]? Saw that you were [something they posted or did], that's really amazing
Template

B
OPENERS FOR WHEN SOMEONE ENGAGES WITH YOU FIRST
WHEN TO USE IT: Someone gave you a reason to message. They liked or commented on a post, connected with you, asked for your free thing, or shared something you can reply to.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: You want a reply, not a sale. Once they reply, move to the replies in section E.
GUARDRAILS
Say why you are messaging in the first line, so it never feels random.
Add one line that shows you looked at them: their post, their work, a mutual friend.
Any invite or offer carries an easy out, like "all good if you aren't interested".
Mix up at least two different openers each day. The exact same message sent to everyone starts to read like a script.
B1 They liked or commented on your post
What this does: Thanks them for engaging and offers something free, with a clear way to say no.
Why it works:
The thank you comes first, so the invite reads as a friendly next step, not a pitch.
"Zero obligations" and "all good if you aren't interested" make it safe to say no, and that makes saying yes feel safe too.
The link sits on its own line, so it is easy to tap on a phone.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Just wanted to say thank you so much for commenting on one of my recent posts, I really appreciate it! π
Btw, I recently launched my newsletter and if you're someone who's into building a lifestyle business, I'd be so honoured if you could support & join!

B2 A new connection
What this does: Says hi to someone you just connected with and names one thing you have in common.
Why it works:
There is no ask at all, so it is a plain hello from a real person.
The one personal detail shows you looked at their profile before you typed.
It ends with a warm wish, so the chat closes nicely even if they never reply.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Pleased to be connected!
Just dropping in to say Hi & since I saw that you are [something personal about them that could relate to your offer], thought it'll be cool to connect as we have lots of mutual friends!
Have an amazing week ahead :)

B3 They asked for your free thing: two questions first
What this does: Before sending what they asked for, asks two quick questions so you know who they are.
Why it works:
The reason for the message comes first, so the questions do not feel random.
The questions are framed around them getting value, not you screening them.
Their answers tell you what to send next and whether you can help.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Sending you this because you requested for the RPM notes. Before I send it over, just wanted to ask 2 quick questions to make sure you'll truly benefit from it:
1. What are you currently doing for your business right now?
2. What made you reach out for this?
Will send you access right after :)
Template

1. What are you currently doing for your [business / the area you help with] right now?
2. What made you reach out for this?
Will send you access right after :)
B4 Sending the link to your free thing
What this does: Hands over the link in three short lines.
Why it works:
The reason comes first, the link sits on its own line, and the warm close comes after it.
It does not tell them how long it takes to read, because how they spend their time is up to them.
"Enjoy" ends it warmly without asking for anything.
Sample
Helloo! Here's the link to the RPM notes:
https://rpmnotes.marcteo.com/
Enjoy :)
Template

B5 They asked about something paid
What this does: Asks two quick questions before sending the details, and says up front that it costs something.
Why it works:
Mentioning the small investment early means nobody feels caught out later.
The questions help you check it will actually help them before they pay.
It keeps the same friendly shape as your free thing message, so it does not suddenly sound salesy.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Sending you this because you requested for [the paid thing they asked about]
Before I send it over, just wanted to ask 2 quick questions to make sure you'll truly benefit from it (esp because there's a small investment required):
1. What are you currently doing for your business right now?
2. What made you reach out for this?
Will send you access right after. Thanks!

B6 Notes or a resource you think will help them
What this does: Sends something useful you picked up, with no ask attached.
Why it works:
It gives before it asks, so you are sharing something valuable instead of selling yourself.
"Super random" admits the message came out of nowhere, which makes it feel natural.
It is not your own product, so it reads as help, not promotion.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Super random, but I recently attended Mel & Bryan's Market Leaders workshop awhile back and thought these notes could be useful for you:
[link]
Enjoy!! And hope all has been well too HAHA
Template
Hey [Name]! Super random, but I recently [attended / read / watched] [the workshop, book or training] awhile back and thought these notes could be useful for you:
[link]
Enjoy!! And hope all has been well too HAHA
B7 A training you made
What this does: Shares a training you shot yourself, with someone it fits.
Why it works:
"Not sure if you're interested" gives them an easy out before they even open it.
Saying it would be useful for them keeps the reason about them.
It works best when you do not send your own things every time, so mix it with useful things from other people.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Hope all has been well!
Btw, not sure if you're interested, but I recently shot a video training on [topic] & thought it'd be really useful for you:

Hope you enjoy & find value from it k! Haha

[your link]
Hope you enjoy & find value from it k! Haha
B8 Replying to their story or post
What this does: Reacts to what they shared, the way a friend would.
Why it works:
It is about them, so there is nothing to sell and nothing to resist.
A short, honest reaction is easy to reply to.
It warms up the chat, so a question later does not come out of nowhere.
Sample, three different replies, send only one
Wow, this looks good. Where is this place?
Congratulations on quitting your job!!
All the best for your fitness journey!! Exciting times ahead
Template

C
THE YEAR-END LETTER
WHEN TO USE IT: Once a year, before the year ends, or a week or two before a big holiday, when inboxes are quieter than on the day itself.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: People write back about their own year, and some reconnect after a long time. Reply to each one like a friend.
GUARDRAILS
Keep it about gratitude and honest lessons, with no offer inside it.
Send it before the day, not on it, or it gets buried under everyone else's greetings.
Write it properly once, then send it to the people who matter to you.
This is one of the few messages worth sending to many people at once, because it is a letter, not a pitch. For your weekly message, use any script in section B: write it once, then change the name and one line for each person.
C1 The year-end letter
What this does: Thanks people for being in your life, shares what the year taught you, and wishes them well.
Why it works:
It opens with thanks, before anything about you.
The lessons are honest and personal, so it reads like a letter from a friend, not a newsletter.
The P.S. invites them to share their own year, which gives them an easy reason to reply.
Sample, the start and end of a year-end letter
Hellooo!!! Sharing my personal letter to my family & loved ones before the year endsπ
*First Things First*
Firstly, I just wanted to say thank you for being in my life.
Whether we spoke a lot or didn't catch up as much as we could, you still mean something to me, and I appreciate you for being in my life :)
[My lessons from the year, one short block each]
Wishing you an amazing close to the year and a strong, grounded start to the next!!! π₯³
Truly rooting for you & I wish you every blessing in the world.
Marc
P.S. Feel free to share with me how has YOUR year been too! I look forward to reading them as well haha

D
CAMPAIGN MESSAGES, WHEN YOU HAVE A REAL REASON
WHEN TO USE IT: You have a real reason to make an offer: a launch, an offer for past clients, or a small number of spots. Run the reason check first. No real reason means a relationship message from section A instead.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: You are asking for a small yes first, like "want more details?". Send the link only after they say yes.
GUARDRAILS
Only send these to people you truly believe it will help, and say why you thought of them.
Every price, guarantee and number of spots must be true. If one is not true for you, take that line out.
Always leave an easy out, and if they go quiet, use the follow-ups in section G.
Pick about two campaigns a month, and change them up so people do not get tired of the same offer.
D1 Past clients: an offer to come back
What this does: Invites past clients back at a lower rate, with a clear reason and a way out.
Why it works:
"Sending you this because thought you'd benefit" says why you are messaging in the first line.
It lists exactly what they get, so they can decide without a long chat.
Being able to leave anytime makes coming back feel low risk.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Hope everything has been amazing! Sending you this because thought you'd benefit:
I talked to the team & we agreed to let some of our previous clients join our program at a lower rate and allow them to opt-out whenever they want
Same access, calls, help, channels, personalized advice, the whole thing. Plus a 1-1 Kickstart Call to map your gameplan toward [the result they want]. Pay-as-you-profit at $XX/month, leave anytime, 2X ROI guarantee
Want to keep working together? All good if you aren't interested too!
Template

Want to keep working together? All good if you aren't interested too!
D2 Launching something new
What this does: Tells someone it fits about a new offer, with three benefits and a question instead of a link.
Why it works:
The personal reason shows you picked them on purpose, not from a mass list.
Three short benefits are quick to scan on a phone.
It asks if they want details, so saying yes is a small step.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Hope everything has been well!
Btw, not sure if you're interested, but this month, I'm launching [the offer], and thought you might be interested because [the personal reason]!
In short, you'll get:
- [Benefit 1]
- [Benefit 2]
- [Benefit 3]
As I am looking to get more success stories before I raise my prices, I'll be personally working with each signup to get results ASAP, and I've designed it to be as easy to start for as low as $100 (with a 2X ROI 100% Money Back Guarantee too)
Would you like me to send you more details? If you aren't interested, that's totally okay too! :)
Template

[Your real reason for the offer], [what you will personally do for each signup], and [your real starting price and guarantee, or delete this part]
Would you like me to send you more details? If you aren't interested, that's totally okay too! :)
D3 Asking for the sale, when they are ready
What this does: A short, direct ask for someone who is hot, used sparingly.
Why it works:
Hot people already know, like and trust you, so a direct invitation makes sense.
A real number of spots gives an honest reason to decide now.
The easy out keeps it respectful.
Sample
I've got 3 spots open. It's $XXX to start. Want in? All good if you aren't interested too!
Template

E
REPLIES THAT FIND OUT WHAT THEY WANT
WHEN TO USE IT: They replied, and now you want to understand where they are and what they want, before you invite them to anything.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: You learn their goal and what is in their way. When you feel about 8 out of 10 sure they would say yes, move to an invite in section F.
GUARDRAILS
Once the chat is going, ask one question at a time.
Give a reason for asking that helps them, like sending them something useful.
Short replies with little in them mean slow down, not push harder.
E1 An A-I-A reply
What this does: Replies in three short lines: say back what they said, share a quick insight, then ask one question.
Why it works:
Saying back what they said shows you listened.
The insight builds rapport, so the question does not feel like an interview.
The question comes with a reason that helps them, so answering feels worth it.
Sample
You're welcome! This should be very useful for you especially if you are looking to build a side hustle
It was only after I learnt from Tony Robbins I had the courage to start my own business
Haha so btw right, are you thinking of starting your own business too? Can send you some personalised resources if you are!

E2 Questions that find out what they want
What this does: Three questions to use one at a time as the chat goes on: where they are, what is in the way, and what they have tried.
Why it works:
Each question comes with a reason, so it feels like help instead of an interrogation.
Asking what they have tried stops you offering something that already failed them.
The answers tell you honestly whether you are the right person to help.
Sample, three questions for three different messages
Do you already have a business or looking to start one?
Understand!! So what are your top 2-3 biggest challenges? Asking so I can send some personalised resources to you!
Oh yes! So curious, what have you tried previously so far! Asking so I can hopefully share some insights & feedback since I have been in the space for quite awhile

E3 When they ask what you do
What this does: Answers in one or two lines, with who you help and why you started.
Why it works:
It answers the question straight, without a long pitch.
"I personally did it myself" shows you have lived it.
It stops there, so they can ask more if they are curious.
Sample
Sure! I'm a work-from-home dad who helps folks build and launch six-figure lifestyle businesses while being present for their family :) I personally did it myself, which is why I started this in the first place haha
Template

F
INVITES, FROM A WORKSHOP TO A 1:1 CALL
WHEN TO USE IT: You understand what they want, they have shared a real challenge, and you truly believe you can help. Pick the invite that fits how warm they are: a workshop for warm people, a 1:1 call for people who are hot.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: They say yes to hearing more, or they say not now. Either answer is fine, and both tell you something real.
GUARDRAILS
Tie the invite to what they told you, in their words.
Offer the call, do not sell the call. Ask one clear question, then give an easy out.
If they want details first, send a short page instead of five paragraphs.
F1 Inviting them to a workshop
What this does: Invites a warm contact to a workshop that covers the exact thing they mentioned.
Why it works:
It points straight at what they said they need, so the invite is about them.
It asks if they want to find out more, which is a small yes, not a big one.
There is room for one line of credibility, if you have a real one.
Sample
Understand! Hmmm actually right, next week I'm conducting a workshop that covers exactly what you mentioned you might need some support in
[Optional: especially what you mentioned about ___ because ___]
Anyway during the workshop, I share exactly how [what you teach in it] and think this would be really useful for you. [A line of credibility, if you have a real one]
Would you be keen to find out more? If not, all good too!
Template

F2 Inviting them to a 1:1 call
What this does: Offers a call to someone who is hot, tied to the challenge they told you about.
Why it works:
Naming their challenge in their words shows the call is for them.
"Not generic advice" tells them what makes the call worth their time.
"All good if it's not the right time" makes it safe to say no, and that makes yes easier.
Sample
I've got a few proven approaches that would really help here, especially with what you said about [their challenge]
Usually the best way is to hop on a 60 minute call so I can walk you through the exact frameworks for your situation, not generic advice. Would you be open to that?
All good if it's not the right time! :)
Template

F3 When they want details before booking
What this does: Sends one short page that explains the call, instead of typing it all out.
Why it works:
A page answers who it is for and how it works better than a wall of text.
They can read it in their own time and decide without pressure.
"If not, all good too" leaves the choice with them.
Sample
Of course, totally fair!
The easiest thing is I send you this short overview first:

F4 Sending the booking link
What this does: Sends the booking link once they say yes, and makes booking easy.
Why it works:
The link sits on its own line, so it is easy to tap.
Telling them to book first and change the time later means a busy week does not stop them booking.
"Can you access the link?" gets one more small reply, so you know it worked.

Can you access the link? :)
F5 Before the call
What this does: Sends one short video to watch before the call, so you both make the most of the time.
Why it works:
The reason is about getting more out of their session, not about you.
It says what to do and where, in one short message.
The little k and "Chat soon" keep it warm, not bossy.
Sample
Nice!! So anyway before the call, highly recommend you watch this to maximise your value & time for the session k!

G
FOLLOW-UPS WHEN THEY GO QUIET, THEN CLOSE THE FILE
WHEN TO USE IT: You sent a message and heard nothing back. Most people do not reply to the first message, and that is normal.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Send each one about a day apart. There are up to four messages, and the fourth one closes the file. Closing the file gives you both closure, and plenty of people reply right then.
GUARDRAILS
When someone does not reply, it is rarely about you, because people are busy and overwhelmed.
Keep every follow-up short, with an easy out in every one after the first.
After you close the file, wait 2 to 4 weeks, then reopen with a message that gives and asks nothing, like A3.
G1 The first follow-up
What this does: Checks that your last message arrived, in one short line.
Why it works:
It is so short that it takes two seconds to answer.
It assumes the message got buried, not that they ignored you.
The smiley keeps it light.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Did my last message reach you okay? :)
Template

G2 The second follow-up
What this does: Nudges once more and gives them an easy way to say no.
Why it works:
It gives a human reason for messaging again, which is that it might have got buried.
The easy out makes a "no thanks" as welcome as a yes.
The haha and the little k keep it from sounding needy.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Wanted to make sure this didn't get buried haha. All good if it is not your thing too k!

Hey [Name]! Wanted to make sure this didn't get buried haha. All good if it is not your thing too k!
G3 The last follow-up
What this does: Tells them this is the last nudge, and assumes they are busy.
Why it works:
Assuming they are busy is kind, so there is no guilt in the message.
"One last time" is honest, so they know you will not keep chasing.
The easy out is there again.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Figured you must be super busy since I haven't heard back, so reaching out one last time for the above! Again all good if not hahah

G4 Closing the file
What this does: Ends the follow-ups warmly, so nothing is left hanging.
Why it works:
It gives both of you closure, and plenty of people reply right then.
"All good" shows there are no hard feelings.
Nothing in it burns the bridge, so a warm message in a few weeks still feels natural.
Sample
Hey [Name]! Assuming this isn't for you right now! All good, just closing the loop on my end. Cheers!

H
REPLIES TO OBJECTIONS: ANSWER ONCE, THEN STEP BACK
WHEN TO USE IT: They give a reason for no or not yet. Answer it lightly, once, maybe twice.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Either the concern clears and the chat moves on, or you step back and point them to your content, and both are fine.
GUARDRAILS
Show you understand before you answer, and never argue.
Answering one objection with five paragraphs makes you look desperate, so keep your answer short.
If the objections keep coming, stop persuading and use H6.
Money, timing or partner objections on a sales call are a different skill. For those, use the Objection Handling Playbook at objectionhandling.marcteo.com.
H1 "Are you trying to sell me something?"
What this does: Answers honestly that you have offers, then says what you actually want from the chat.
Why it works:
It does not hide the offer, so there is nothing for them to catch you out on.
"Only for people I feel are a good fit" shows you are not selling to everyone.
It brings the chat back to them and how you can help.
Sample
Haha thanks for asking! Yes I do have offers & programs, but only for people I feel are a good fit :)
Mainly I just wanted to find out where you're at & see if I can add value to your life in some way
All good either way k! π

H2 When they sound sceptical
What this does: Accepts their doubt and points them to your content, with no pressure.
Why it works:
It agrees their doubt makes sense, especially after a bad experience.
It lets your content do the convincing, not the DM.
It ends warmly, so the door stays open.
Sample
Totally understand that you might feel sceptical, especially with what you have gone through too
So right, all good if you aren't interested, and feel free to check out some of my YouTube videos or other content before making a better decision :)
Have an amazing week ahead!

H3 "Let me think about it"
What this does: Respects their decision and gently asks what is on their mind.
Why it works:
"Want to make sure you make a proper decision" puts their interest first.
Asking what they are thinking about helps you understand the real concern.
Calling it useful feedback makes the question easy to answer.
Sample
No worries! Totally understand. Want to make sure you make a proper decision too
Just curious if possible, could I ask what are some of the things you might be thinking about? It'll be useful feedback for me to continue improving what I do haha
Thanks in advance! :)

H4 When they want to work with you later
What this does: Offers the call now as a first step, with no pressure to decide yet. If they clearly mean later and already have a date in mind, a short "Understand!! We'll chat closer to the date then! :)" is enough.
Why it works:
"Take your time to decide" tells them the call does not lock them into anything.
The call is offered for their clarity first, and the program only comes up if you are both a fit.
It ends with an easy out, so a no is still fine.
Sample
Understand!! Hmmm, what do you think about just having the call with us to gain further clarity & direction first? Then only if you feel we're the right fit, we can share with you more about the program, and you can take your time to decide if you'll like to come on later this year
If you aren't interested, all good too! We are fine either way :)

H5 Short or one-word replies
What this does: Notices they are busy and invites a fuller reply later, without pushing.
Why it works:
It assumes they are busy, not uninterested.
It hands them the choice of when to talk.
After this, you step back instead of chasing.
Sample
Btw, understand you must be pretty busy, so when it's a better time, feel free to share more detailed responses so I can help you if you like!
If not, all good too, and have an amazing week ahead :)

H6 Too many objections: the graceful exit
What this does: Steps back politely when the questions keep coming, and points them to your content.
Why it works:
It stops you persuading in the DM and lets your content do that job.
"Might not be the right fit" is honest and saves both of you time.
Pointing to your content lets them get to know you at their own pace.
Sample
Anyway, it sounds like you have a lot of questions and might not be the right fit, so perhaps we can chat at a later time & you can watch some of my content to get a better idea of what I do first! Have an amazing week ahead :)

Turn these scripts into your own words
Download the AI Implementation Toolkit from the playbook, upload or paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, and say "build my script library". It asks you a few questions, one at a time, then rewrites every script here in your own texting voice. You still send every message yourself.
